I know I posted something similar not too far in the past (so if you saw that one please excuse me), but I still wanted to post this picture looking up at the 52 meter high Campanile, built on the landing beach of the 1820 British Settlers.
I thought of doing a Campanile myself this week, then thought I would save it for another week and do my Seaplane instead. Great shot and nice sky as well:)
I could see keeping some prisoners in there (bars on the windows). The last time I went up into a "Campanile" was the one at the University of California in Berkeley (now not such a good place to go with the demonstrations in Oakland). The bells must be magnificent! What type of tunes do they play?
Hey, Firefly--go here to see ours!

It's everything a tower should be! And a beautiful sky!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture.
ReplyDeleteHappy sky watching.

I very much like the angle of this shot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sky above an interesting tower. Makes me a little dizzy to even view!

ReplyDeleteGreat skywatch! Love that perspective.
ReplyDeleteNice perspective, this shot with very crisp lines. Good subject for a SW photo.
ReplyDeleteGreat! This is the third tower photo I've seen so far today.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, here's visiting late for SWF. Hope to see you around.
Do they still play the bells?
