Silver seas

Whenever there is a big cold front approaching the fishing boats fishing off Algoa Bay sails into the bay to seek shelter against the storm.  They normally anchor just offshore and wait out the storm before heading back out to continue fishing.

  1. Hi Jonker, that looks brrr cold. We've had 26degrees during the day. But I hear there is a cold front coming up from the Cape, so no packing away our winter woollies yet.

  2. Silvered waters have a special kind of magic. And bonus boat silhouettes add a little atmosphere.
