After the picture in yesterday's post looking westwards from the Sacramento Cannon in Schoenmakerskop, I decided to post a picture of the same cannon but looking the other way. The cannon is situated at the end of the road in the village (its actually a suburb of Port Elizabeth, but because its slightly away from town and quite small the locals refer to it as a village) of Schoenmakerskop which can be seen in the background. If you are on Facebook I would recommend the group Friends of Schoenmakerkop to stay up to date with the goings on in the village along with some stunning photos from the area by Luc Hosten.
