The Port Elizabeth Harbour is a major export hub for the car manufacturers in Nelson Mandela Bay with General Motors based in Port Elizabeth and VW in Uitenhage. This is the view from the Campanile down onto the harbour with rows car carrier ships. and rows of cars waiting to be loaded onto car carrier ships.
Thisis quite an image. So many vehicles!
ReplyDeleteI wonder where they are going.
ReplyDeleteInteresting Picture - You do get into the most strangest places to take them, don't you...
ReplyDeleteWhere are this little lot off to? I often wonder when I see VWs over here it the could have followed us to these shores... great photo... again
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great photo. I would have stayed there for an hour zooming in and out, trying to get some cool photos.
ReplyDeleteNice! The cars are packed!
ReplyDeleteI love the patterns they make. Lovely. Now if they could just deliver one to my door. It does not even need to go on a ship...
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing photo. So neatly lined up.
ReplyDeleteBack again... I've also been wondering... have the cars wearing some sort of covering? Sea pyjamas, perhaps? ;-)
