Car ship

The Port Elizabeth Harbour plays hosts to massive car carriers like this one several times a week. Both General Motors and VW have big export contracts which means that cars manufactured in Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage goes all over the world through the PE harbour.

  2. GM for one is doing better overseas than at home. That's the only thing that saved them.

    Ports are so interesting because you glimpse many partsof life from around the world. You can really see the global intersections of commerce, because you live in the midst of it.
