Fygies at St George's Park

The Fygies, a type of flowering succulent, is in full bloom at the moment, both around the city as well as in the adjacent interior. (Saying it like that makes me sound like a weatherman)  This specific bush totally covered in flowers caught my attention in St Georges Park.

  1. So vibrant, the neon colors almost hurt my eyes. But I'd suffer to see it instead of snow.

  2. Beautiful! They are all out at Kirstenbosch at the moment. I stopped at the top of Constantia Nek the other day and bought some vygie jam - delicious! It means "little fig" in Afrikaans and the fruits do look like figs.
