Arriving....

A ship is brought into the harbour at sunrise, to the right you can see one of the two tugs which shepherd it into its berth.

  1. Thank you for stopping by my Guelph blog. Hope I am in the right place as I don't see a "Sam" here. But anyway, I posted about the pronunciation of the city name. I said, "Sam, you have it perfect!

When I used to teach bus driving or speak in any meeting during my career, I'd tell the folks where I lived and I told them exactly how to pronounce it like you've written. I said, "Santa had an 'elf' and you put a GW in front of the word 'elf'!" So great job there, Sam!"

This is a wonderful photo today. Love the sunlight shining on the ships!

  3. pat, sam is just a blog name for sue and max because we share the blog! (on my personal blog I appear as suzi-k and on his he is max-e)

Alan, thanks for the offer, that would be wonderful! I tried following the link to your website, but you have switched off the connection that allows the link to be followed, so I can't get your details. Would it be possible to e-mail me at sue @ elgecko.co.za (without the spaces) so I can make contact? Thanks!
