Today is the last day of the school holidays, and many kids will be off to school tomorrow morning. One of the clever ides for keeping them busy during the holidays was produced by the staff at the Historic Museum at 7 Castle Hill. These pantin string puppets were reproduced from historic designs. Cut out, put together, tie the strings, and the puppet dances crazily, much to the delight of this little chap!
And by the way, today is the day our American buddies get a Presidential upgrade, congratulations!
Nice to know 7 Castle Hill is still going strong :)
ReplyDeleteIn NSW we go back next week....and then have the hottest, most humid weather during February. How about you?
ReplyDeletePresidential upgrade-- I love it!!! And I hear you might get Oprah as your ambassador??!? I was out on the National Mall and thinking about friends and family back in PE.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous... and FREEZING your butt off by the looks of it! It must have been wonderful to be there and see history in the making.... every now and then a country comes to a pivotal crossroad, and I believe Obama is one of those, and in SA we have the most exciting election in years coming up too! We are also at a crossroad.
