Jewel on the Swartkops River

The village of Redhouse, which nestles along the banks of the Swartkops River is one of the jewels of the city. This view was taken from the Tow Path late yesterday afternoon.

  1. Ah, Redhouse. I spent a lot of time here when I first met my other half as he used to row for ZRC! It's such a lovely place, like a relic of a gentler age.

  2. There is a new sundowner ferry starting up that cruises the Swartkops River. I had an invite (2 actually) to go but every time the weather does not allow for a good evening and it gets cancelled. I will post about it as soon as we get to go.
