Delightful old cottage

This quaint little historic cottage is in Richmond Hill. (In fact it is a couple of houses away from the burnt out one we showed you recently, but this one is fortunately better cared for.)

  1. I am always fascinated by shops so could you think of themes incorporating, Book shops; I know there are not many but Ken Stewart should make a couple of shots. Coffee shops; PE must be the centre of the coffee shop universe. Antique shops; Garden centres; Occupations; Musicians; Bands in the park, the many Grey orchestras, local groups. Road junctions. So many Central locations are photogenic - and you also have sunshine. Can I also make a pleas for named locations? I keep my PE Braby's street map book at the side of my desk and like to visualise a location. 'Richmond Hill' - but where in RH? Your website is the first thing I look at when I turn on my computer. Thanks!

  2. Hi John, thanks for the suggestions, we will see what we can do in coming weeks!
This cottage is on the corner of Landsdowne Place and Suffolk Street, overlooking Tulla Street and the triangle of open ground with large bluegums.
Glad you get your daily dose of PE!

  3. By the way, I hope you realise your first suggestion could lead to dangerous and compulsive behaviour... we are addicted to bookshops, and Ken's is our favourite. A trip there to take photos could well end in financial disaster!
