Hi all, it is sad the way some of these buildings are being trashed. I sometimes wonder if it is a deliberate strategy to get rid of the older buildings and replace them with new ones
My grand mother Ellen Margaret Monica ('Mona') Ringer from Heilbron in the OFS was at school here in 1890s. So was a cousin of hers, Mary Kinna from Somerset East. I hope St Dominics has archives of these times.
Such a waste. I was under the impression that it was going to be renovated. Wasn't the DPP (the prosecution services) going to move in there?
ReplyDeleteWhat a waste! Hopefully it does get restored, before it's too late
ReplyDeleteI can cry when I see this
ReplyDeleteo my goodness! What happened to it?

My mom, Iona Elise Bennette was in this school in 1948. She is still alive and 84 years old
