This big imposing brown building in Govan Mbeki Street is the Port Elizabeth Main Post Office. Its also the regional headquarters of the Post Office in the Eastern Cape. I took this picture from the same spot as yesterday's one with the bouganvilla flowers.
You have shown me a different perspective on a building that I have seen many times. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThis is my worst kind of architecture! Cape Town is full of it - usually slap bang in the most visible or attractive part of a suburb - like the police station almost on the beach at Fish Hoek.
ReplyDeleteKinda ugly.
